Code First Set Up

Dec 21, 2015 at 7:25 PM
I have created a brand new project in VS 2012, C#, with EF 6 and JetEFProvider 1.1.1

When I try to generate database from model --> new connection, I don't see any Jet or access in data source or data provider area.

This is also my first attempt at learning EF. Hence, I may be missing something very simple. Is there any documentation that can tell me how to set this up for first time database generation?

To create database from entity classes you can just do nothing (this is valid for every provider that supports codefirst).
Get a context connected to the database and when you will do the first operation the tables will be created.
If you need more help (i.e. source code) could you post it on stackoverflow with "access-ef-provider" and "jet-ef-provider" tags please?
